Esteban PerezPresident
As a lifelong South Bay resident, Esteban is President of RevGen Athletics and also, the acting Director of Athletics. Esteban brings an extensive background - including a B.A. in Communications from San Diego State University. After obtaining his B.A., Esteban went on to become a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach and is now, paying it forward to the youth in our community. Current/Acting Director of San Diego Strength & Wellness.

Jessie SchmitteExecutive Director
Jessie Schmitte is Co-Founder and Executive Director of RevGen Athletics. As a 25-year San
Diego Native, Jessie has committed much of his life to advocating for a variety of issues. From social justice, housing, and civil rights violations that plague underrepresented communities. Jessie attended Point Loma Nazarene University where he obtained his B.A. in Criminal Justice. While in school, Jessie was a policy advocate for two other San Diego Non-Profits and currently serves as the District Representative to California State Senator, Steve Padilla. Jessie believes a stronger student starts within their own community and the building blocks they are exposed to. “Thank you for trusting our organization with your child, we look forward to building a positive experience for all of our student athletes. With your support, we will begin to Revolutionize a Generation of leaders.” |
Julia TavaresDirector of Player Health & Wellness
Julia Tavares is RevGen’s Director of Player Wellness. Born and raised in San Diego, Julia has
always had a passion for helping others and has been recognized in the community for her many hours of volunteer service. Her first volunteer position was at a local hospital where she eventually became the youngest volunteer to be given the opportunity to work in the Emergency Room and was even given a leadership role within the auxiliary department. In this role, and the many that followed, Julia continued to gain experience with fundraising for different organizations, event planning, and recruiting. Now a nurse for a local medical group across San Diego, Julia is committed to helping others and giving back to the community. In her free time, Julia loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, and try out new recipes. Dalen DullDirector of Policy Outreach
As a resident of San Diego for over 20 years, Dalen brings an extensive background to RevGen Athletics. Dalen attended Point Loma Nazarene University, where she received her B.A. in Criminal Justice. She has long been entrenched through San Diego’s softball community, from Little League all the way through the Collegiate level. Her strong dedication to public safety is distinguished by her work at the San Diego County Public Defenders Office and staffing a number of award-winning attorneys throughout the years. Though living in VA Beach, she remains a critical voice on our board as she steers our organization’s Policy and Decision-Making. Dalen continues to work hard throughout the community, to create a more equitable future for our children.

Christina FontimayorDirector of Civic Engagement
Christina is a San Diego native and Sweetwater Union High School District Alumni. As an advocate for education policy and community development, Christina went on to receive her B.A. in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University. Having worked within the government sector for the last 5 years, she brings an exceptional background in Civil and Customer service. Christina anticipates cultivating meaningful relationships between our organization's student athletes and other community leaders. By fostering connections throughout the South Bay, she is confident we can build a foundation for our young athletes to thrive on and off the field.
Coach Rolando "Ro" RiveraPlayer Recruitment/Scouting AdvisorCoach Ro has over 20 years of experience coaching high school football. He has coached over 30 Offensive and Defensive lineman that have gone on to play collegiate ball. Coach Ro' was the head coach of So-Cal Polynesian Classic and has continued to be selected as an All-Star teams coach through many bowl games in Southern California, including the esteemed Spanos Classic & Makasi Bowl. Coach Ro's accomplishments off the field are just as impressive as on the field, winning the ABC Chanel 10 Leadership Award and runner up for Person of the Year, after assisting over 400 San Diego student-athletes obtain collegiate scholarships. Coach Ro remains a critical piece that helps bridge the gap between high school and college for all of our student-athletes.
